Matteo Cesari is a Biomedical Engineer and Senior Scientist at the Department of Neurology. He received a B.Sc. degree in Information Engineering from the University of Padova (Italy), a double M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Padova (Italy) and the Technical University of Denmark, and a Ph.D. degree at the Department of Health Technology of the Technical University of Denmark. Since April 2024, he holds the Venia Docendi in Biomedical Engineering at the Medical University of Innsbruck.
Together with his team, he develops machine learning algorithms for improved analysis of neurophysiological data, automatic identification of neurological disorders and prediction of future neurological adverse outcomes.
