Hubert Hackl has a background in Biomedical Engineering, a PhD in Bioinformatics and leads a Computational Biology and Immuno-Oncology research group (CBIO) at the Institute of Bioinformatics. His current research focuses on integrative immunogenomic data analysis of tumors and their microenvironment with the aim of identifying determinants and vulnerabilities for cancer immunotherapies.
